Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery Engagement | Washington D.C. | D.C. Engagement Photography

There’s something so satisfying about composing two people in modern art galleries — between the geometry and color of the art, the grand, clean architecture, and soft light.  They are spaces that are empty vessels — just add the complexity of people and their myriad ideas and unique perspectives. The Smithsonian is particularly suited for exploring art, laughing and long conversations with my couples, settling in to chat over tea at the cafe, and ultimately, creating magic with two people who are in love.
