Disha and Neil wanted to step away from the Traditional Indian Wedding. They worked to incorporate a minimalist aesthetic, re-imagining many Indian traditions to reflect a more modern palette.
Capitol One Hall in Tysons, Virginia, boasts a sleek, architectural and contemporary. Its grand windows, with incredible natural light, modern materials, and strong leading lines were a solid foundation for their wedding.
The ceremony featured a novel take on the traditional four-pillar mandap. Sarah Khan Event Styling and her team of magicians created a unique backdrop of organic branches, and pastel blooms of roses, hydrangea, and spanish moss within minimalist open pillars. A delicate ocean-green backdrop contributed the the modern, airy feel.
